Koch Gift

In June 2019, University President Michael Engh, SJ announced the opening of the Ciocca Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CCIE), funded by the Ciocca family with a supplementary $4 Million grant from the Charles Koch Foundation.  The campus chapter of the AAUP supports the Faculty Senate Council's decision to petition the University to rescind the gift.  Documents related to chapter efforts in support of this end are listed below.

  • SCU AAUP Resolution regarding the Koch Foundation Gift asking the Faculty Senate Council to take action to encourage rescinding the Koch Gift, at least until after the completion of the work of the Task Force on the Compatibility of SCU Gift Acceptance Guidelines with SCU's Mission, Vision, and Values (4 March 2020)
