Undergraduate enrollment at Santa Clara has been on a steady upward trend since 2004, with a target of 6,000 undergraduates set by the Provost's Office for 2020. Despite implications for classroom space, faculty hiring, online course delivery, and provision of student services such as housing and food, the Academic Affairs Committee and Student Affairs Committee have not to our knowledge been involved in the decision-making processes as of 2014. In December 2014, the chapter resolved to approach both committees to ask them to look into the changes and to represent their constituents in decisions related to this issue.
