Ecology and
Spirituality
- Introduction
-
- Human stewardship of the earth and its resources has become a topic of worldwide concern. While hte physical denigration of the planet was not a pressing issue when the Bible was composed, considerations of the cosmos and nature nevertheless occur in scripture in various contexts that betray exposure to several different worldviews. What do the scriptures say, and do they bring any resources to bear on today's discussion of human responsibility for the environment?
