- This conference, co-sponsored by the University of Haifa
Faculty of Law and Washington College of Law at American University,
is to be held on Monday, March 5 from 6:00-9:00 a.m. PST (Monday
evening in Israel). The topic is the recent Israeli Supreme
Court decision upholding one scholar's copyright to his transcription
of an ancient manuscript over other people's rights to publish
it. The site includes a translation of the full text of the
Supreme Court decision. The conference will be webcast.
